Bust your Stash – 11 of the best Stash-Busting Crochet Patterns

My yarn stash is OUT. OF. CONTROL. Just ask A- he’s got an endless supply of vacuum bags he keeps cramming ball after ball into, and I’ve made countless promises to use what I’ve got before I buy anymore… yeah, right! I do have the best intentions though, so I’ve put together this list of my favourite stash-busting crochet patterns!


This year I’ve already started to cut down on yarn by setting myself the challenge of finishing my crazy Mandala Madness. It takes me an hour to go round the blanket now so this is something I’ve decided to come back to in the New Year once all my Christmas presents are out of the way.

But stash-busters shouldn’t all be about making up blankets to use up the endless scraps and oddments. So here are my 20 favourite non-blanket stash-busters for you to start your New Year a little lighter…
