Difficulty:
— Rectangular shawl worked horizontally, with a variegated stripe with some surface crochet embroidery. You will need to know how to work all post stitches from DC to QTR (quadruple treble crochet) for which instructions are provided.
Yarn Requirements:
— 800m / 874yds 4ply Yarn in Main Colour (MC) I used MSY Symbiosis in “Deoxyribrose “
— 120m / 132yds 4ply Yarn in Contrast Colour #1 (CC1) I used MSY Symbiosis in “ CTAG “
— 10m / 11yds DK Yarn in Contrast Colour #2 (CC2) I used MSY Symbiosis DK in “ Nucleotide “
All yarns were gifted to me by Mad Scientist Yarns. Yarns and pattern kits can be purchased from their website here.
Hooks:
— 6mm crochet hook
— 4mm crochet hook
Gauge:
—4 sts x 3 rows = 1” in pattern.
Other Materials:
— Tapestry needle to weave in ends and seam
— I strongly suggest using stitch markers to help you with stitch placement, particularly with the longer stitches.
