Lets be honest- when we’re not buying cute yarn, we’re buying cute notions. After almost losing my measuring tape for the millionth time, and sitting on my scissors once again, I thought it was time to compile this list of my favourites…

#1 – Japanese Style Measuring Tape

Addressing my immediate need firstly- how gorgeous is this measuring tape? It takes me right back to Japan and the Kimono I wore when I visited there in 2018. Its perfect because it’ll fit into my project bag and wont come unraveled when not in use.

#2 – All You Need Project Bag

I think this is the new motto I’m going to live by. Nothing makes me happier than yarn and gin, and allowed only one – I don’t know which I’d choose.

#3 – Rainbow Yarn Cake Cover

There’s nothing worse that having your gorgeous hand dyed yarn rolling along your floor as you work with it. I have loads of these yarn cake covers and they really are their weight in gold!

#4 – Knitting Notions Tin

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I’m a sucker for a good pun! This notions tin would slip easily into any project bag and keep all your little knickknacks safe and sound.

#5 – Fold-Up Scissors

I can’t even count how many times I’ve sat on my scissors, and while they haven’t punctured my behind yet, I know its only a matter of time. I bought these scissors a few weeks back and they are amazing. Not only do they not perforate my cheeks, they also don’t break through my project bag or accidentally snip through my yarn.

There’s nothing worse than losing all of your little notions – your tape measure, fiddly little stitch markers, they’re so easy to lose. Not if you’ve got a handy little pouch with a cute print though!
