You might have heard I’m a finalist for Ms Great Britain (@missgb_official) 🇬🇧 representing all of the knitters and crocheters out there! 🧶 I couldn’t be more excited to use this platform for something that truly matters 🌍
•
In the lead-up to the pageant, I’m making it my mission to highlight the importance of sustainability in making everyday fashion choices. Read: that doesn’t mean you have to stop shopping or completely turning away from buying new pieces! ❌
•
I work in an industry that is directly linked to fashion, and I’ve seen firsthand how much impact our choices can make. Small changes, like opting for sustainable materials, shopping secondhand, or supporting eco-conscious brands, can make a huge difference, but there’s so much more…
•
On my path to the pageant I’ll be:
⭐️ posting statistics on fashion sustainability that I witness first hand working in my industry
⭐ tips on how small changes can make a big impact
⭐️ I’ll be hosting monthly raffles for knitting/crochet goodies as I try and smash my £10,000 target for @cr_uk
⭐️ I’ll be representing every knitter and crocheter out there, so I’ll attempt to make my first round outfit! The colour needs to be ❤️ RED ❤️ (which I seem to be having a love affair with lately)

I hope you’ll support me in this new adventure, which is taking me so far out of my comfort zone, whether it’s through donations, words of wisdom or encouragement, I am appreciative of all of you and know I will get through this with my yarny community around me ❤️
