Special shout out to my *ideal* shade of red by @republica_unicornia_yarns - it’s absolutely *chefs kiss* - I especially love the subtle zebra stripes that zigzag through the body of this EIGHT SKEIN wonder.

You should definitely go check out Kathleen, especially as she’s having a yarn re-stock SOON. Can’t promise this will be on the roster, but none of her yarns have ever been a disappointment.

This is the back of my Georges. ❤️

Like some others on Rav, I think I’m going to try and find a way to sew the bow up so it’s a little less limp… there is a LOT of yarn gone into this and the bow drags the sweater down and actually means there’s a lot of “round the shoulder slippage” that I think could be fixed with some equal weight distribution…

It’s super warm- definitely overkill for the last dregs of the Bohemian summer I am experiencing now ☀️

I am SO happy with the yarn (suri silk) and colour (Red Velvet Cake)- I’m now on a mission to find a red velvet cupcake to immortalise alongside this sweater in a photo. 🧁❤️

This is my “Atlanta Sweater”- yarn from Atlanta 🍑, mostly knit in various trips to Atlanta and (almost) finished in Atlanta (I’m counting it!) although photographed here in Czechia 🇨🇿

My favourite part about this sweater is taking it from day ☀️ to night 🌙 by just changing up what I wear underneath… it can get sultry quickly!

This is a selection of @thefibrefox yarns. I like to think of it as “His & Hers” as one skein was dyed by Georgie (Kingfisher - Solid Green) and the other by Ben (Tomonoura Harbour - Speckled Green) and I’m holding them double throughout. How romantic 💚

The mohair is by @spunrightround yarn in shade Fresh that I picked up in Oregon all the way back when in MARCH and honestly this passing of time thing is getting to me. Make it stop! ✋

This is the beginning of my vacation dress- lucky I’m not going away until December so I have plenty of time to work on it (or not… depending on how fast the rest of the year goes!) 🍀 🏖️ 🕰️

Can’t believe I haven’t written a blog post in literally all of 2024, but I did upload all my notes, updated schematic and general tips to make life easier…

In summary, I enjoyed a bit of refreshing crochet and I think the pattern came out cute. The schematic is really difficult to follow so I made my own (see blog) and ended up seaming this baby shut.

It survived a trip around Stockholm and honestly I love it paired with this simple M&S cotton dress - now where’s my gin and tonic? 🍋 🍋 🍋

I walked in wearing my Limonata 🍋 from issue 45 of @pompommag by @by.ana.d and after one lovely lady complemented me on my outfit, another pulled out her version from her project bag!

After-all, how often do you walk into a store and find someone working on the same project you just completed? 🧶

I’ll make sure to list all project deets on my next post- but for now I’m enjoying a beautifully hot day in Stockholm soaking up the rays! ☀️ ☀️ ☀️
